A gorgeous display that showcases a slice of teak root, hand-carved, and mounted inside a frame constructed from upcycled old Javanese structures. A burnt charcoal finish adds intrigue to the piece, revealing the intricate structure of the timber.
This product is hand made using natural materials ensuring each piece is distinctively different and possesses unique characteristics. Small variations or imperfections in colour, design, size and finish may occur from piece to piece. Products made from rattan may present tonal variations within the fibre which are not considered faults. Cracking, splitting, natural defects or leaching of natural oils may be present in natural materials and are not considered faults.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Teak will naturally tend to patina to a silvery grey when exposed to the elements, such as moisture and sunlight, when left untreated. Note that a characteristic of teak is to sometimes leach natural oils, and this may lead to unavoidable staining of light fabrics.
